Invoking leisure and style, stolen straight from the depths of rustic nature, the Bohemian House remains ideal for a duo craving serenity and quiet. |
A melangé of modern-style and a pastoral design, the house provokes a sense of splendour. Complete with an exuberant exterior and unblemished finishing the Bohemian House accents various styles of design and a pulchritudinous interior.
Putting aestheticism to shame, it shares a lavish comfort and welcomes one heartily to the realms of residence, one which you can proudly call home.

Conveniently located on the first floor, a glimpse outside the apartment reveals magnanimous resplendence of nature at its purest- with a blanket of trees and multi hued flowers blessing the ground. A sublimity that complements the refulgent interior as bread would to butter.
Spawned by tasteful colour and decor, the Bohemian House displays subdued, yet prominent hues, generously offered an abundance of light by the outside, flooding the house in a zealous warmth.
A foyer, as one walks through the front door is magnified by the mirrors screening the shutters of the storage cabinets. A seater done in walnut colored wooden cabinets is placed with boho themed cushions. A variety of framed photographs captured by the owner himself line the wall on top, bringing in a homely essence as soon as one steps in.

Entering the drawing room brings you to the contemporary yet earthy vein, where a jute carpet lines the floor, crisp and prominent against the strikingly off-white floor, polished to a sheen, inviting one for a reflective peek at themselves. In the middle an utterly ornate table lies regally. Small and simple, the circular coffee table is burnished and boasts a caramel brown with natural cane detail. Resemblant to it, two cane and wooden armchairs sit adjacent to each other, completing the rustic air and bearing a floral cushion each. The other constituent of the family room includes a lapis blue sofa, velvety and textured, fully upholstered, supported by a set of wooden pegs. Opposite to the sofa, wedged against the screen-like white, grey and flowery wallpaper framed by sleek wooden patti, lies a TV screen, sleek and unmoving. Below the screen, a compact storage space is placed, revealing a beautiful wooden texture. Adorning the room are potted plants, green, lavish and fresh, welcoming the outside to the inside. From the ceiling hangs a helix-shaped modern chandelier, concentric circles falling gracefully from the top in the form of rose-gold rings.
The dining room consists of a simple but old-fashioned sheesham wood table, polished but visibly flaunting the contours of wooden grains. Analogous chairs and a bench surround the dining table with cushy upholstery. A matching table liner streaks across the length of it. A voluminous mirror emblazoned against the dark walnut panelling of the wall is segmented into uniform rectangular fragments wielding a magnifying and stunning effect to the room. A mini bar resides in the corner, finished with a chic wine glass rack and translucent shutters while a sleek horizontal chandelier casts light upon the table set-up.
A minimal contemporary style pooja nook neighbours the wooden panelling by the dining table. Austere but elegant, it remains laminated by a wallpaper, stamped with a stark and beautiful motif of Lotus flower.

Moving on to the kitchen, a space which would make one feel like cooking all day. China blue acrylic finish storage cabinets strike the eye while sleek rose gold handles line the top. Matching cupboards are fixed upon the wall.
The counter is a glossy white quartz slab, elegantly placed across the length of the L shaped kitchen, upon which a built-in hob and sophisticated grey quartz sink with ebony fittings are placed. The backsplash breathes of complete opulence as it exhibits a modern gothic tile, mild with shades of grey and white. The open kitchen wall is framed by a partition done in jute wallpaper & walnut finished frame. A light antediluvian stained glass orb hangs from the frame, a spotlight to the jutting-out counter for the purpose of an extra breakfast nook wherein one can grab a quick bite before work. This is paired with a classy bar stool with a varnished seat, atop black metal base.
Unimposing, set in a cabinet by the fridge, lie two tall units with built-in appliances, readily accessible for anyone. Minor details, such as hooks to hang mugs, futuristic shelving inside the cupboards and a magnetic bar for knives complete the enchanting look of the kitchen.

Entering the space where some might spend a number of hours, the three bedrooms, each in their own manner, hardly fail in accentuating the cosy and neoteric feel of the house. The guest bedroom throngs with an effulgence and state-of-the-art decor. A homely queen-sized bed occupies the majority of the space in the room, providing a cosy feel with a sturdy wooden frame and a thick mattress, housing fluffy pillows and contrasting the virescent ambience with a stark white brilliance. Flanking the bed on either side are Salvador Dali-inspired bed-side tables, live edge wooden tops spilling over the metal frames. To the side of one of them sits a glorious Monstera plant in a muted grey pot. The back wall is daubed a mellow sage green and covered in a wooden panelled frame and rustic wallpaper, adding much character. A pair of hanging pendant lights furnish the room as their suave ceramic tubes dangle from a thin wire. The other side of the room is taken up by a sliding wardrobe, spanning the opposite length of the room. Cappuccino coloured shutters cover the surface and a thin wooden frame encases it.
The master bedroom reveals a similar placement, except for the wood veneer flooring and cream-coloured carpets, which appear to give a more rustic and lacklustre feel. A mirror, like that of the one in the dining hall, extends the room, enlarging it as the tube pendant lights are replaced by caged globe lights, assuredly bathing the room in a warm glow as night descends.
On the opposite side of the bed is the large floor to ceiling sliding wardrobes in a double hued acrylic finish of grey & rose gold. The same rose gold t-patti is applied on the dresser unit to disrupt the monotony of a large mirror and to add character.
The colour scheme of the master bedroom catches the eye as an eruption of beige, pink and grey fill the room. The impeccable choice of shades pay heed to the chic and airy quintessence that capture the couple’s needs.

A simple study holds a dapper but unembellished mahogany finish study table and chair, against a flavourful pale green and white striped wall. The flood of sunlight is obstructed by timeless magnolia shaded blinds. The opposite wall is adorned with a large custom painting done in complementing shades of the study room.

The Bohemian House affiliates itself in close connection with nature, nevertheless sharing a bond with a fervent contemporary design welcoming a sublime equilibrium and paying homage to the bohemian air the client requested. A rhapsody never to end, a glimpse of the house itself gives the impression of a fresh and modernistic effect, embracing one to the perfect home.
